ARE WE BETTER OF THAN 4 YEARS AGO?

According to Jonathan Lansner's Big Orange Index.  That's a quarterly compilation of three dozen barometers for the local business climate, and it has risen for 11 consecutive quarters, as of the spring quarter of 2012.  In fact, it's 8% higher than it was in the first quarter of 2009.  There was an economist who projected at the end of 2011, that 2012 was going to be a better year, "it just wasn't going to feel like it."  Maybe that sums up where we are at.  The nation seems to be lagging a bit behind So Cal.  Say what you want about the Southland, we are resilient.
